A Thursday

25 hectares between forest

Banduja Reserve is a private estate in Celorico de Basto, in the north of Portugal. Twenty-five hectares of farmland with independent houses, nature all around and silence as a starting point.

Stone buildings that retain the traces of the original farmhouse. Each structure has been restored with respect for what already existed. The materials are the same as always (stone, wood, lime) and modernity has only entered where it has served the experience.

The donkeys, the goats, the pigs: they have belonged to the farm for years and are part of the rhythm of the place. Coming across them on the morning walk, hearing their sounds when you wake up, letting the children approach calmly - these are moments that are not organized, they happen.

NATURE DO THE REST

THREE TRAILS. A MAP.
